To prohibit, prevent, and eliminate the scourge of ragging, which includes any conduct byany student, whether through words spoken or written, or through an act that has the effect of teasing, treating, or handling a fresher or any other student rudely, or engaging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student.
Monitoring, directing, and supervising the functions and performance of the Anti-Ragging Squads in the prevention and suppression of ragging in the institution
To be attentive at all times throughout the campus and other areas vulnerable to ragging incidents and having the potential for ragging, and to have the authority to inspect such areas.
To conduct surprise raids on hostels and other locations prone to events and the potential for ragging.
To undertake an on-the-spot investigation into any ragging incidence reported to it by the faculty, student, parent, or guardian, as the case may be. The investigation report, along with suggestions, shall be given to the Head of the Institution for action.
To ensure that posters are displayed on institutional and department notice boards, as well as other prominently designated locations.
Anti-Ragging policy is strictly implemented in this institution. Based on the Guidelines of the UGC and the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, all the steps and precautions to prevent ragging is effected in our institutions.

Any student studying or seeking admission should not involve or indulge in any sort of ragging in the campus, hostels or elsewhere. Ragging in any manner is a criminal offense and strictly policed & prohibited. Students found guilty of involving in ragging will be subjected to severe punishment as offence under IPC leading to expulsion from the institute without any notice. The course of action for the students proven guilty in ragging will be as per the rules and regulations on prevention of ragging imposed from time to time by the Government / Apex Courts or any other competent authorities.
Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college premises. If anybody found indulged in such kind of activities, strict action will be taken irrespective of the extent. Supreme Court of India has banned ragging. In order to prevent such activity in campus, several committees have been developed and brought into operation even before the start of 1st year classes by the Principal.
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the premises of the college/department/classroom as well as on public transport. Any individual or group of individuals who indulge in an act or practice of ragging constitutes gross indiscipline and such individual/ groups shall be dealt with as per the ordinance. This includes individual or collective acts or practices that involve physical assault or threat or use of physical force, which violate the status, dignity, and honour of any student.
• Violate the status, dignity and honour of girl students.
• Violate the status, dignity and honour of SC and ST students.
• Expose students to ridicule and contempt there by affect their self-esteem.
• Entail verbal abuse and aggression indecent gestures and obscene behavior.
The Principal / the Anti-ragging committee shall take immediate action on any information of the occurrence of ragging.
