WELCOME TO MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is established as a fully-fledged department offering B.E course from the year 2009 with 60 students. This blooming department doubled the intake with 120 students in the academic year 2012.

The course deals with areas of Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Thermal Engineering, Power Plant Engineering, Heat and Mass Transfer, Gas Dynamics and Jet Propulsion, Design of machine Elements, Computer Graphics and Drafting, Computer Aided Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, Design of Jigs, Fixtures and Press tools, Machine Tools, Automobile Engineering, Strength of Materials etc.

The teaching and research programs in the department are organized according to both disciplinary and inter-disciplinary themes. We cover all the core disciplinary areas of Mechanical Engineering including dynamics, controls, solid mechanics, materials, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, automobile and design.
