About EDC

Entrepreneurship Development Cell of St. Joseph College of Engineering (SJCE), Sriperumbudur was established during 2014.This cell fosters young minds to trigger their business interests through versatile activities. It focuses on urging the students to think out of the box and strongly believes in the concept of Live the Vision. It also hopes to spread this message among the student community to make them realize that there is life beyond job seeking

Vision

To kindle entrepreneurship dreams among young minds and to take up entrepreneurship as their career.

Mission

1. To motivate and inspire students to take up the challenge of entrepreneurship.
2. To equip them with necessary skills and provide all possible assistance.
3. Promote creative thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset among the students.
4. Promote innovations and help convert them into market accepted products.

Objectives

1. To change the mindset of students and to take up entrepreneurship a their career instead of looking for a job.
2. To support students to convert their innovative ideas into market demand products using local resources.
3. To promote technology based student startups by providing technological, financial and mentoring supports.
