The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) is a part of the AICTE's efforts to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among students in higher education institutions, particularly in technical and engineering colleges. The IICs are established in various colleges and universities across India with the aim of fostering a culture of innovation and creativity among students. In our St. Joseph College of Engineering, IIC was established in the academic year 2023-2024
1. Promoting Innovation: Encouraging students to come up with innovative ideas and solutions to real-world problems.
2. Creating an Ecosystem for Innovation: Developing an ecosystem that supports innovation and entrepreneurship within educational institutions.
3. Organizing Events and Competitions: Conducting various events, competitions, and workshops to stimulate creative thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
4. Networking and Collaboration: Facilitating collaboration between institutions, industries, and other stakeholders to enhance the innovation ecosystem.
5. Skill Development: Providing training and skill development programs to equip students with the necessary tools to transform their ideas into viable projects.
6. Support for Startups: Offering guidance and support to students who want to start their own ventures or startups.
