Message from the TPO

I cordially invite Campus Recruitment organisations to join us in achieving our common objective of excellence. For students to succeed in the professional world, St. Joseph College of Engineering always provides a proactive learning strategy and a defined academic plan of action. Students have the option to learn on their own, attend conferences, seminars, industry tours, and in-plant trainings. The resources that St. Joseph College of Engineering provides to students for in-house project development are the college’s strength. It also allows students to engage in social activities and sports in order to foster skill development and a holistic development of the spiritual, social, and emotional quotient. I am optimistic and optimistic that the graduates will be warmly accepted by the industry. I wish this cohort of students every success in their pursuits and am confident that they will make a major contribution to the professional world.

Training Module

Our skill enhancement and pre-placement training enables students to ‘Plug & Play’ in industry technical knowledge areas. Training begins in the first year, and experts are brought in from a variety of fields to keep the students engaged. To increase employable skills, the following training programmes are available.

First Year

1. Basic English (speak, read & write).
2. Verbal & Non Verbal.
3. Spoken English course for mediocre & Tamil medium students.

Second Year

1. Intermediate English (Speak, Read & Write).
2. British English Course.
3. Aptitude problem solving skills- Basic.
4. Analytical & Reasoning.

Pre-Final Year

1. Career Awareness sessions
2. Soft Skills Training (Creativity, Motivation, Leadership, Group dynamics and Body Language).
3. Aptitude Training (Analytical, Logical & Verbal reasoning skills).
4. Mock Interview (Tech & HR) by senior faculty from the respective department.

Final Year

1. Training on Corporate question papers & Corporate Etiquette.
2. Interview Skills and Mock Interview.
3. Monthly tests on company questions.
4. Weekly Group discussions & Mock Interviews.
5. Technical Training on their core and in other areas like (Programming fundamentals – C & C++, JAVA, Hardware, Networking and etc) by our internal faculty.
