A Research and Development (R&D) cell, often referred to as an R&D department or unit, is a specialized division within an organization, company, or institution dedicated to the discovery, creation, and improvement of products, processes, technologies, and knowledge. The primary purpose of an R&D cell is to innovate, stay competitive, and drive growth by advancing existing products or creating new ones.

Functions

To Impart the Quality Education and Innovative Teaching Methodology for Successful Career Growth. Design, Implement and Evaluate a Computer Based Solution for Various Domains.

To Prepare the Students to Communicate Effectively in a Variety of Professional Contexts.

Ability to Demonstrate Comprehension of Modern Software Engineering Practices.

Composition

Head of the Institute proposes three committees for R&D activities the constitution is as follows.

1. Executive Committee

Dean R and D
One senior faculty from all six departments (Internal Members)
One or two external domain experts nominated by HODs from all departments (External Members)

2. Faculty Research committee

Dean R and D
One senior faculty from all six departments (The internal members)

3. Student Research Committee

Dean R and D
One Internal member of Executive committee
One faculty from all six departments
One student from all six departments
